Give Thanks by Helping Others
Show your appreciation by assisting those in need.
The holidays are here. What a hectic time of year! But, aren't you thankful to have the means to enjoy it? You have your health, your friends, and your family. In the midst of giving thanks this Thanksgiving, take time to remember those who are less fortunate than you. As a way of showing how thankful you are for all that you have, wouldn't it be nice to help someone in need?
November is National Alzheimer's Disease Month, National Adoption Month, National AIDS Awareness Month, Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and Epilepsy Awareness Month. What an appropriate time to choose a charity to support and help someone else! After all, isn't that what Thanksgiving is all about?
Whether you volunteer your time, or donate funds to a cause in need, providing assistance to charities is a thoughtful way of giving thanks. Or you can assist Skin Essentials with its support of families in need this year. Click here to nominate a local family in need this holiday season. We will announce the winner in next month's newsletter.
Want to help, but don't know where to begin? Check out the following organizations for opportunities to assist both financially and/or by volunteering your time:
- Aids United
- Give Kids the World
- American Cancer Society
- American Red Cross
- Alzheimer's Association
- Epilepsy Foundation
The team at Skin Essentials is so thankful for you, friends, and family. Because we want to give back to others this holiday season, we are excited to announce our support for Rocky Mountain Childhood Cancer Foundation. During the month of November, stop by the spa and pick a tag off the gift wish tree. Bring the unwrapped gift back by December 10th and receive a special gift in exchange for your generosity and support! Please join us as we come together to help this special group of people. We know you will be so happy that you did!
